About Us

MY HARMONICA WORLD SDN BHD established in 1990, by Malaysian renowned harmonicist, Mr. Chong Ah Kow, the 2nd World Harmonica Championship (tremolo harmonica category), Germany. He has a great persistence about harmonica, and he believes harmonica brings the joyfulness to the world!

Since establishment, MY HARMONICA WORLD has already organized varies harmonica events, such as harmonica competitions, harmonica performances, harmonica exhibitions, harmonica festivals…etc. Harmonica talents were then discovered. Together, we lead the harmonica culture of tighten up relationship between peoples by harmonica. We believe that getting involved in harmonica is a great way to inspire one’s inherency. Also, it’s the great instrument to connect peoples in certain extent.

  • “460 People Largest Harmonica Performance”
Officially invited by “Malaysia Books of Records” to participate in event, Malaysia’s 46th Anniversary of National Day, sponsored by Great Eastern Life Assurance (M) Bhd.

2004

  • Organized “Malaysia-China Harmonica Competition”
Featuring The late Mr. Claude Garden from France, Mr. Juko Saito from Japan and Malaysian harmonicists Mr. Chong Ah Kow, Mr.Owen Ho Chee Kin, Mr. Oskar Tan Choon Siang and Mr. Patrick Koh Keng Hong. The programme was recorded and broadcast in Astro (Malaysia’s leading cross-media group).
  • Chinese Harmonicist from USA, Mr. Jia-yi He conducted “Chromatic Harmonica Master Class”.

2002

  • Melodica lecturer, Mr. Cheung Ka Shin from Hong Kong conducted Melodica workshop.
  • Record breaking performance by leading over 7000 audiences playing songs with world smallest harmonica in “Back to Nature” event.

2002

  • Organized “International Harmonica Carnival 2007”, International Show Room, Genting Highland. Over 500 participants from local and oversea attended the carnival.
